Rotating Saturdays during peak season Nov- April
Compensation: $19 - $21 (DOE)

Job Summary:
Summary: Our Accounts Receivable Specialist is an important facet of our customer solutions mission. Qualified candidates need to demonstrate previous expertise with account receivable practices.

Qualified candidates seeking full-time employment must be available Monday through Friday and some Saturdays during the winter months (November to April).

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Maintains accounts receivable files and records to ensure timely collections practices.
• Interact with customers in a courteous manner, listen and understand their needs and requests. Come to the best possible arrangement for account resolution and customer retention.
• Review and report goals of past due accounts
• Accurately process payments and record notes on customer’ accounts.
• Monitor payment arrangements to ensure compliance with payment terms.
• Participate in projects and perform other assigned duties.
• Receive calls from customers/coworkers and assist with billing questions in a professional manner.
• Complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate and upsell customers proactively on products and services to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain customer information respecting confidentiality and use customer information for the context of assigned duties.
• Utilize systems and technology to complete account management tasks.
• Recommend new ideas and approaches to help achieve best practices and enhance the customer experience.
• Aide in building and promoting a positive team environment that promotes cross functional teamwork.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or sufficient related work experience
• Proven accounting experience, preferable as an Accounts Receivable Clerk and/or Collections Specialist
• Knowledge of credit and collection processes and procedures
• Professional and friendly phone communication/able to stay professional under stressful circumstances.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Hands-on experience w/spreadsheets (Excel)
• Experience w/MS Word, Outlook/email, Internet
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers
• Data entry and work processing skills
• SalesForce (helpful but not required)
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Available Monday through Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm and some Saturday’s during our season.
