In this position, you will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain a cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. The team is growing quickly and needs a self-starter to become part of the accounting team! You will process full-cycle AP and handle many invoices per week while paying close attention to detail. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role will be based in the Cincinnati Ohio region and is a permanent employment opportunity.How you will make an impact- Carry out, convey, and strengthen the mission, values and culture of the company- Confirm documents and codes are correct- Reply to information requests from stake holders, including shippers, customers, and the sales/marketing department- Contact clients to settle payment issues and establish payment plans as required- Handle monthly closings and annual reports, including processing payments and compiling segments in compliance with GAAP- Post and balance financial information in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts- Follow standard procedures to perform basic accounting tasks, such as general accounting
