Accounts Receivable Coordinator
We are looking for a talented and motivated Accounts Receivable coordinator to support the day-to-day operational activities of an accounts receivable department. This position manages and coordinates accounts receivable activities and oversees and/or coordinates billing, collection, reconciliation to the general ledger, and the compilation of accounts receivable reports. This position closely monitors the aging of accounts receivable and initiates appropriate steps to facilitate collection of invoices from customers.

Core Responsibilities:
- Full cycle AR – Invoicing, credit/collections, receiving/processing payments and applying payments.
- Follow up on collection efforts to ensure timely reimbursement for services provided.
- Manage account receivables to maintain payments within the established terms.
- Examine unpaid invoices and send out friendly payment reminders.
- Research procurement systems to resolve why invoices were rejected.
- Compare to previous audits to see if some accounts are regularly paying late.
- Communicate with customers to request payment and arrange payment plans.
- Proactively inquire and investigate instances of short payments to determine their validity.
- Provide ad hoc support in accounts payable and/or vouching tasks requiring basic data entry skills and a flexible approach to task management.
- Relays changes of information to appropriate employees.
- Ensure strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its clients.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Work under time constraints to meet specific deadlines.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
- Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- At least two years of related experience required.
