Runs individual, family, and group counseling for patients in chemical dependency programs. Being an Addiction Counselor typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent; meets the standards for Addiction Counselor Certification Board, or other appropriate certification. Tracks patient progress and dispensation of treatment services. In addition, Addiction Counselor typically reports to a supervisor or manager. We teach and coach individuals, couples, and families how to heal, restore, and transform their lives to become the best version of themselves, as God intended.

    The virtual executive assistant will partner with the executive director/founder and other project leaders, in order to boost efficiency, develop our infrastructure, add new services, and help us serve more people in need. This flexible and dynamic position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, a great sense of initiative, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain effective communication with all participants, volunteers and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative, team-oriented environment
    • Assist with occasional face-to-face meetings and errands
    • Ordering, compiling and shipping training materials
    • Calendar management and conflict assistance
    • Setting and preparing for meetings
    • Volunteer onboarding, coordination, and contact information management
    • Organize and coordinate events, ensuring all details are meticulously planned
    • Conduct research and analysis to assist in decision-making processes
    • Assist with correspondence to various stakeholders
    • Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Suite for document preparation and data entry
    • Support fundraising efforts and grant organization
    • Knowledge management and curation
    • Additional duties as necessary to facilitate general business functions.
    • Demonstrate integrity and respect confidentiality

    Optional Duties:

    • Compile monthly data to prepare key performance indicator (KPI) reports
    • Assist with Zoho One suite of apps, including CRM/mailing list
    • Special projects or tasks as needs arise and/or with candidate interest

    Experience & Character:

    • Experience with mental health, addiction, faith organizations, nonprofits, business development, or other volunteering is preferable.
    • The right candidate will be a practicing Christian, friendly, reliable, accurate, self-motivated, technologically savvy, and have an appetite for learning.
