Judge Healthcare is urgently seeking a Mental Health Counselor for one of our biggest clients in Langhorne, PA!

Location: Langhorne, PA

Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible start time between 8:30 am and 9:00 am. Occasional work until 6:30 pm or 7:00 pm based on patient and family needs. Must work a total of 40 hours per week.

Job Description: Our Family Based Services team provides individual, family, and parent therapy to at-risk youth using an eco-systemic structural family therapy model (ESFT). As a Mental Health Professional, you’ll collaborate with a dynamic two-person team to engage youth and their family members creatively. The focus is on addressing complex family system issues, promoting family stability, and reducing the risk of out-of-home placement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual, parent, and family therapy sessions, emphasizing the four pillars: emotional regulation, parent-child attachment, parental executive functioning, and co-caregiver alliance.
• Collaborate with families to develop monthly relational treatment plans.
• Provide case management support to enhance family stabilization, including community integration, needs assessment, service coordination, education, and advocacy.
• Offer phone crisis support, assessing safety and providing guidance to increase safety for families receiving services.
• Participate in weekly supervision with the team, group, and Program Coordinator to enhance skills.
• Engage in training provided by the Center for Family Based Training to foster clinical growth within the team model.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy to children
