Tracks patient progress and dispensation of treatment services. In addition, Addiction Counselor typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Human Services or Mental Health Professional to join our team as an Addiction Counselor. In this role, you will provide critical counseling and support to individuals with a history of substance abuse, particularly those transitioning from incarceration. You will help facilitate their journey to recovery by assisting with discharge planning, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) therapy, and connecting them with community resources prior to their release.
