New Directions (NDARS) has been a leader in supporting the process of recovery from substance use disorders from start to finish in McHenry County, addressing service gaps and breaking barriers to improve the community.
We are seeking a high-motivated individual for a newly created role as a Development Coordinator. This role will be responsible for will executing and implementing fundraising, outreach and marketing efforts for NDARS. This includes direct donor engagement, attending community outreach events, performing in-person and telephone donation solicitation, leading mailer fundraising campaigns, helping to organize fundraising events and coordinating outsourced marketing efforts. This role is expected to co-chair our development committee and collaborate and contribute across NDARS program and admin teams. Direct experience in SUD recovery is preferred for communicating mission-needs and networking within the local recovery community.
