    Position Type: Part Time ; 24 hours/week Tuesday through Friday. This position will expand to full time in the future.

    Salary: $18-20/hour, depending on experience

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our property management team and ensuring smooth operations within the company. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and able to handle a variety of tasks with precision and professionalism.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide administrative support to property management team, including but not limited to: answering phones, responding to emails & text messages, and managing calendars.
    • Assist in the preparation of leasing documents, contracts, and other administrative paperwork.
    • Data Entry
    • Maintain accurate records of tenant communications, lease agreements, and property maintenance requests.
    • Assist with tenant onboarding and offboarding processes.
    • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
    • In person greeting of tenants and clients at office.
    • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including invoice processing and rent collection.
    • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
    • Coordinate change overs of utilities.
    • Communication with landlords regarding updates on their investment properties, outstanding projects, & day to day operations that are pertinent to their relative property.
    • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
    • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in property management or real estate.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of property management laws and regulations is a plus.
    • Experience with property management software, AppFolio, is a plus.
    • Ability & willingness to learn software & protocols set by company.
    • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the company.
