Duties and responsibilities for Admissions Coordinator:

• Ensure compliance of state required inquiry and wait list log if applicable
• Responsible for identifying and training facility backup systems
• Act as the facility liaison for professional community outreach including acute care hospitals, homecare agencies, various elderly services providers and our residents and families
• Facilitate monthly Census Management Meetings with facility team
• Manage facility admission budget on a monthly basis

• Previous Experience as an Admissions Coordinator preferred
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, communications, or healthcare related field or three years equivalent experience in lieu of degree
• Previous health care community relations or general community relations experience
• Sales, presentation, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement (Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care Programs)
• Knowledge of admission process preferred
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in written format
