    Blue Cliff College is seeking an Admissions Representative. This role will interface with prospective students in support of their decision to attend/select a school and communicate the philosophy and features of the school, serving as an advocate for prospective students. This individual will have acquired a superior level of knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to achieve a higher level of continued success in the admissions function. As such, this individual is expected to achieve and maintain a high level of quantitative and qualitative results as set for a lead position in an accurate, professional, and compliant/ethical manner using college-approved admission processes and procedures.

    JOB DUTIES

    • To be successful in the organization employee must have a high level of student service with an emphasis on integrity, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
    • Conducts interviews with prospective students evaluating their needs, interests, and qualifications while providing clear and concise information to help them make an informed decision to attend or not attend the college. Presents information regarding the college’s programs and tuition in a factual and ethical manner.
    • Consistently achieves expected goals and objectives of a suite of quantitative and qualitative metrics including, but not limited to, enrollments, starts, conversion rate, show rate, schedule adherence, and compliance.
    • Professionally assists prospective students through the admissions process following all applicable federal and state regulations, college policies, and procedures and in compliance with all accrediting standards and requirements. The major components of the process should include the setting of the appointment, interviewing the student, facilitating and processing the enrollment, set6ting the proper expectations, providing information about, and facilitating attendance at new student orientation, and the start of class.
    • Partners with departments outside of Admissions, including Financial Aid to ensure the delivery of a high level of service to every student.
    • Stay in contact with students throughout the program of study in order to assist them in becoming successful graduates.
    • Network off-campus in a variety of areas to promote the college and secure personally developed inquiries, as well as represent the campus at Open House and other events.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    • Associate degree or equivalent related experience preferred.
    • Three (3) to four (4) years experience in college admissions, financial aid, high school counseling, or sales of intangible products preferred.
    • Minimum of two (2) years in relationship and/or consultative sales.
    • Knowledge of basic office policies and procedures.
    • Knowledge of college operations, services, and policies.
    • Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
    • Effective time management skills.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
    • Solid problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently, as well as on a team.
    • Ability to exercise discernment and good judgment in making decisions.
    • Ability to proficiently use the college’s software systems.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy work environment.
    • Ability to spend a considerable amount of time standing, walking, and moving about the campus.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.

    COMPENSATION

    In the spirit of pay transparency, we can share that the pay range for this position is $40,000-$50,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
