Position Overview:
We're seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support diverse caseloads from PreK to 12th grade in Murrieta, California. If you thrive in a dynamic educational environment and are passionate about making a difference through speech and language support, we want you on our team!Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, and hearing.
- Work directly with students in one-on-one and group settings to implement therapeutic interventions.
- Document student progress and collaborate with educational staff to support individual education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Required: Active SLPA license in California.
- Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in a diverse, multilingual setting.
Position Details:
- Classroom Setting: Varied, PreK-12
- Hours per Week: Full-time
- Contract Duration: Current school year, with potential extension for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
