Being an Admitting/Discharge Clerk verifies patient insurance and ensures registration and discharge forms are properly signed. May be responsible for collecting patient payments and/or arranging patient transfer. Additionally, Admitting/Discharge Clerk typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Admitting/Discharge Clerk gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision. SUMMARY:
Operate the convenience store and other assigned areas, while maintaining organization and cleanliness of the facility.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Bay Clerk must be able to operate the cash register, maintain an accounting of sales, collect payment and perform till reconciliation and paperwork with accuracy. He/she receives merchandise from vendors and verifies contents with purchase orders and packing supplies. The Bay Clerk displays merchandise properly by rotating all items according to store policy and assists in monthly inventory. He/she ensures that all supplies for the store and restrooms are updated and that the store and restrooms are kept clean. The Bay Clerk shall keep all cash, inventory and property secure and must notify surveillance or security of any persons engaging in any suspicious activity. He/she assists at the campground and cabins when needed, which includes, cleaning, registering guests, assigning cabins and camp sites, collecting fees, and verifying the entry of individuals into the campground and boat dock areas. The Bay Clerk performs exceptional customer service and any other duties assigned by The Bay Manager. Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
PREREQUISITES:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Key license. Must have 20/20 corrected vision and not be color blind. Must have or be able to attain CPR, First Aid and A.E.D training certificates.
EDUCATION: High school graduate or GED.
PHYSICAL: Must be physically able to withstand continued walking, standing, kneeling, and lifting for periods of 8 hours or more and lift up to 40 pounds.
