Advanced Engineering Technician jobs in Orlando, FL

The Engineering Technician at Viable will support our engineering team with assembly, electrical wiring/ circuit creation, drafting/ modeling, machine set-up and operation, disassembly, drilling, and tapping holes.

Job Duties:

• Support engineering by performing iterative testing and implementing changes as needed
• Support engineering with fabrication, assembly, and build out of prototypes or models based on specifications
• Utilize AutoCAD or other CAD software to create and modify technical drawings
• Design mechanical components and assemblies using multi-body CAD software (Siemens NX)
• Perform data collection and analysis for engineering projects
• Provide support with in-house manufacturing. This includes machine support, inspection, and material procurement

The Requirements:

• Experience in a technical or manufacturing setting as a Technician
• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior exposure to a variety of technologies, and the willingness to learn new technologies
