Overview
We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Technician to join our team. Jaquish Farms Inc is a 3000 acre family farm in Eau Claire WI producing corn, soybeans, rye, hay and sunflowers. This position is a critical part of the farm operation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble various types of agricultural equipment for maintenance and repair.
• Operation of heavy equipment including Tractor, Combine, Semi-Truck, Sprayer, Grain Cart, etc.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical issues on equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, ensuring all machinery operates efficiently and safely.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed on each piece of equipment.
• Hauling and handling grain.
• Assist in overall planting, growing and harvesting corn, soybeans, rye, hay and sunflowers.
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience preferred
• Pesticide Application license preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required; additional certifications related to equipment operation (i.e. CDL) are preferred.

Seasonal Scheduling Estimation

• Winter Shop Work - 40 hours/week
• Spring Field Work - 50-70 hours/week
• Summer Field Work - 40-60 hours/week
• Fall Harvest - 50-70 hours/week

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
