Aircraft Maintenance Manager manages engineering tasks involving changes or alterations to designs or specifications of aircraft parts, modules, or systems to ensure calibration and safety. Implements procedures to guide the routine inspection of aircraft components to facilitate optimal and reliable functionality. Being an Aircraft Maintenance Manager oversees the scheduling and timely completion of repairs and maintenance ensuring budget adherence. Reviews documented issues and reports to determine repairability and evaluates recommendations for replacements, repairs, or modifications to ensure conformance with safety standards and performance requirements. Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Manager evaluates aircraft data and technical documents and researches new technologies to identify areas to improve practices or processes. Maintenance Manager
1. Acknowledge in a friendly and courteous manner any guest that you come in contact with, maintaining high guest service standards at all times.
2. Maintain uniform and name badge in excellent condition and appearance.
3. Utilize proper safety procedures at all times.
4. Monitor all in-house systems, including plumbing, electric, central heating and cooling, hot water tanks and laundry machines. Contact repair personnel upon advice of Assistant Manager or General Manager.
5. Monitor and maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment, including guestroom HVAC units, lamps, TV’s, radios, laundry equipment, vacuum cleaners, etc. Advise General Manager of chronic or irreparable problems.
6. Maintain interior and exterior of Building. (i.e.: parking lot, litter, etc.)
7. Monitor and maintain exercise room and swimming pool. Maintain all pumps, heaters, filters, and other pool equipment. Backwash and vacuum as needed, and maintain proper pH condition of the water. Hold proper chlorine levels and other conditions to Health Department standards.
8. Order and/or purchase parts and materials to make repairs to equipment, furnishings, grounds and building so as to maintain maximum quality at minimum expense. All ordering and purchasing must be upon approval of the General Manager.
9. Clean and/or change all air filters on a regular basis.
10. Make a list and specify the location of all electric motor switches, resets, and circuit breakers.
11. Repair and maintain all interior and exterior furniture for loose screws, webbing, and joints.
12. Monitor and coordinate services provided by outside contractors.
13. Respond in a timely manner to requests for services by guest, associates, and management.
14. Assist Executive Housekeeper, Assistant Manager and General Manager with Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Preventative Maintenance Programs.
15. Maintain an inventory of tools and equipment necessary. Keep in good working order.
16. Train and monitor any additional maintenance personnel.
17. Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager and General Manager.
18. From time to time, it may be necessary to be available 24 hours, on an on-call basis.
19. May be required to work at other times than normally scheduled hours. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. When business is slow, you may have to work shorter shifts.
20. From time to time, you will need to assist in other additional duties requested by management or corporate office.
