Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor supervises the maintenance operations of aircraft airframes and engines to ensure safe and reliable performance. Oversees routine servicing and preventative maintenance to optimize the lifetime of aircraft airframe and engine components according to internal procedures, guidelines, and technical handbooks. Being an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor evaluates technical requirements to determine the tradeoffs between the repair versus the replacement of components and the effect on cost and safety. Implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal aviation regulations, standards, and specifications. Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor informs and trains aircraft mechanics on current information from manufacturers and regulatory bodies. Coordinates and schedules inspections and follow-up tasks to ensure timely completion. Requires a high school diploma. Requires FAA Airframe (A) and Powerplant (P) Mechanic License. Typically reports to a manager. This position is responsible for the welfare of passengers in all aspects of cabin safety and service. Candidates should be trained and proficient in the appropriate portions of Abnormal and Emergency procedures, as well as all areas of cabin systems and operations. The Full Managed Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) is responsible to perform all phases of troubleshooting, repair and maintenance on company aircraft and component parts to include: dismantling, repairing, and assembling of machinery and mechanical devices and the exchange and replacement of electrical equipment or electrical components. In addition, the Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) is responsible to inspect required items and maintain Company operated aircraft in a continuously airworthy condition in accordance with applicable Federal Air Regulations (FARs).
This is a two pilot account supported by a Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant flying part 91. Strong preference will be given to candidates who are local to the Columbus, OH area and have Bombardier Global experience.
