Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor supervises the maintenance operations of aircraft airframes and engines to ensure safe and reliable performance. Oversees routine servicing and preventative maintenance to optimize the lifetime of aircraft airframe and engine components according to internal procedures, guidelines, and technical handbooks. Being an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor evaluates technical requirements to determine the tradeoffs between the repair versus the replacement of components and the effect on cost and safety. Implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal aviation regulations, standards, and specifications. Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor informs and trains aircraft mechanics on current information from manufacturers and regulatory bodies. Coordinates and schedules inspections and follow-up tasks to ensure timely completion. Requires a high school diploma. Requires FAA Airframe (A) and Powerplant (P) Mechanic License. Typically reports to a manager. RESPONSIBILITIES :
Aircraft Maintenance Technician, maintains the company's aircraft by performing intermediate and heavy maintenance tasks on turbine powered aircraft.
Ensuring all aircraft maintenance records and associated documents to include all company forms and AAIP checklists, equipment manufacturer's forms and checklists, and parts approval documents are completed, processed, and maintained in accordance with the company General Maintenance Manual and applicable 14 CFR regulations.
Providing after-hours maintenance on-call support for the regional operational bases as directed.
Maintaining Company owned tools and ground support equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS :
FAA Airframe and Powerplant License or willing to obtain within 18-36 months
0-2 years experience maintaining turboprop and turbine powered aircraft
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and component
Ability and willingness to work after hours and weekend when needed to support aircraft out of service events
Possess a good working knowledge of computers, MS Windows 8 / 10 operating system and associated programs (Microsoft Office Suite 2016 & Office 365)
