The Senior Diesel Mechanic position is a critical role in our company. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing vehicles and maintaining our fleet of sweeper trucks.

This organization maintains a fleet of sweepers, dump trucks, flatbed trucks, pickup trucks, trailers, attenuators, and various other support equipment.
This Mechanic position is an experienced mechanic position with opportunities for advancement.
The Diesel Mechanic does need his / her own tools and ideally 2 years of diesel truck experience. This is a 9-5PM shift with some flexibility and every other Saturday shift.

Qualifications :
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.
2. Proficient in working with maintenance tools, diesel engines, vehicle electrical systems, and gasoline engines.
3. Comprehensive understanding of the mechanical and electrical components of street cleaning vehicles.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues quickly and effectively.
5. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Commitment to adhering to all safety standards and regulations.
8. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
9. Current and valid driver's license.
10. ASE Diesel Certification or equivalent is preferred.
