Airport Engineer jobs in Galveston, TX
Airport Engineer plans, designs and lays out airports and landing fields. Oversees the construction work involved in leveling fields, laying out and surfacing runways. Being an Airport Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Airport Engineer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

- Guide guests to appropriate waiting area for ground transportation or bus loading zone.
- Take final head count of guests and note any issues (e, g, early flights, missing luggage/items, medical conditions)
