Airport Engineer plans, designs and lays out airports and landing fields. Oversees the construction work involved in leveling fields, laying out and surfacing runways. Being an Airport Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Airport Engineer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Job Description
The City of Pueblo wants to hire you as an Airport Operations/Maintenance Worker! A position that offers you great benefits, competitive pay, and satisfying hands-on work. As an Airport Operations/Maintenance Worker, you will receive training to perform a variety of duties and tasks supporting the operation of the Pueblo Memorial Airport. Duties and tasks include building and basic mechanical trades, performing inspections, enforcing rules and regulations, and monitoring and reporting airfield conditions and performing other tasks to ensure compliance with FAA/TSA standards. This position also assists with the management of airport disasters and emergencies at or near the Pueblo Memorial Airport. After you complete 6 months of employment, you will promote to Airport Operations/Maintenance Specialist!
