Airport Engineer plans, designs and lays out airports and landing fields. Oversees the construction work involved in leveling fields, laying out and surfacing runways. Being an Airport Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Airport Engineer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Position Summary
The night auditor greets and registers guests, provides prompt and courteous service, provides information regarding hotel facilities and guest accommodations, audits hotel revenue on a daily basis, verifies the correctness of guest accounts by balancing each departments income and allowances, verifies room rates, and closes out guest accounts upon completion of stay.
Pay rate: $16.50/hr
3-4 days/week
Essential Duties
· Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome.
· Balance the income and allowances for each individual department. Verify the correctness of each guest room rate and adjust as needed.
· Complete the registration process by obtaining data from the guest and/or reservation printout. Input information via computer or through a manual process. Provide folders reservation requests utilizing similar format as check in process.
· Handle cash, make change, and balance an assigned house bank. Accept and record vouchers, traveler’s checks, and other forms of payment. Perform accurate, moderately complex arithmetic functions using a calculator. Post charges to guest rooms and house accounts using the computer or manual system.
· Promptly answer the telephone, within three rings. Take and deliver accurate and timely guest messages, either manually or via the computer system. Deliver mail, small packages and facsimiles for customers as requested.
· Close guest accounts at time of check out and ask the guest how they enjoyed their stay. In the event of dissatisfaction or dispute, negotiate compromise, which may include authorizing revenue allowances.
