SUMMARY/SCOPE:
This is a FT-30 (Full Time – 30 Hours Per Week) hourly position serving as the Head Cheerleading and Mascot Coach/Community Affairs at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX. This position is responsible for promoting student athleticism and school spirit within the HSU Cheer Team, athletic sports teams and throughout campus.
The Head Cheerleading and Mascot/Community Affairs coach will attend various university events, fundraisers, community events, football, basketball, and volleyball games. This coach will also attend many other community or campus marketing events and photo shoots, when needed.
