The Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) at the Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Center in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Customer Service Representative.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for operating, and monitoring the Special Order 800 Service call center. Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the program, while at the same time providing the highest level of customer service. Will receive orders for tires from VCS customers nationwide. The position holds the responsibility for ensuring tire orders placed over the VCS 800 phone number are accurately entered into RMS. Responsible for verifying and gathering information from VCS customers and notifying service centers of the customers. Responsible for the accurate billing of customer and processing payments via credit card or payroll deduction transaction. Answers Employee Payroll Deduction (EPD) inquiries.
The incumbent works under the general supervision of the Call Center Supervisor who, in consultation with the Assistant Chief Merchandising Officer, defines objectives, priorities and deadlines. Completed work is reviewed in terms of technical soundness, appropriateness, and overall effectiveness in meeting the goals of the Special Order 800 Program. Of paramount Importance is receiving and processing special orders from the 800 call in line for our customers in a timely, professional manner, and ensuring tire orders are processed as promised in the time frames established by the vendors.
