ANTICIPATED INTERNSHIP LENGTH:

JOB SUMMARY: 

New World Medical is looking for a motivated and talented individual to participate in an internship program reporting directly to our Chief Commercial Officer. The intern will have the opportunity to gain valuable business experience working with our international distributor partners, conducting international market research, and working cross functionally with other departments within the organization while participating on meaningful business projects that will help shape the future of the organization. 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Conduct research on key international markets to help the organization gain a better understanding of competitive products, market access, pricing, and regulatory environment.
• Work with International Distributor partners to improve intelligence and update NWM contact database in our CRM.
• Work closely with internal departments like customer service, regulatory, marketing, and other departments to assess needs to improve working relationships with our international distributors.
• Build recommendations for presentation to executive team at the end of the project.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate from an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
• Occasionally move about inside the office and travel to and from office buildings to access file cabinets, employee offices, office machinery, etc. This may include, but is not limited to, bending and walking.
• Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer printer, computer keyboard, calculator, etc.
• Ability to listen and speak with employees and vendors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and transport to other offices. This may be performed with reasonable accommodation.
• View and type on computer screens for long periods of time.
