You would be working with state-of-the-art printing equipment to create something unique and personal for our clients. RESPONSIBILITIES:- Inspect products to determine quality and adherence to work order specifications
- Identify workflow and process inefficiencies, recommend solutions to Management and participate in resolutions
- Receives all incoming raw goods shipments, examines merchandise for damage or defects, verifies shipment information against bill of lading, inputs required receiving data into system
- Prepare goods for decorating/embroidery
- Pack goods for shipping
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Carry out basic quality control checks
- Process overflow work for teams that need assistance meeting Service Level Expectations
- Complete packaging tasks such as box assembly, packing, and taping
- Work cooperatively with other team members to meet goals
- Monitor daily and monthly audits
- Be available for occasional overtime, including nights and weekends
- Performs other duties as assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:- Preferred high school diploma or equivalent
Work Experience:- Preferred 0-1 years of general work experience
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, COMPETENCIES:- Strong understanding of Benson’s commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within the production, apparel and shipping process.
- Ability understand and follow job instructions, both verbal and written.
- Adaptable to work within multiple areas of apparel production.
- Proficiently operating in a safe and productive manner within a production setting.
- Maintain company’s high quality control standards.
- Ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
- Capability to complete repetitive task.
- Ability to speak and understand English.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:- Working in a production environment
- Regularly lifts and carries very heavy objects
- Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and grasping
- Standing for longer periods of time
- Handling and assembling small parts
- Vision abilities are required to confirm product accuracy
