Though we continue to be named one of the fastest-growing technology companies in Vermont, unfortunately, we do not have any open positions for Programmers or Programming Interns right now. However, we are open to receiving applications for when we are ready to add to our programming team in the future. If you have an interest, feel free to reach out to us. Whether you are newer to programming and interested in an internship or you have several years of experience, we are interested in hearing from you!
At Ivy, we expect much from our programmers. Every programmer is expected to be able to fix bugs or add features to a product largely on their own. These features can require a wide array of knowledge, from socket communication to querying information from a database. Each new project is meant to stretch your skills and help you grow from where you are to where you can be. But you won’t be doing this alone. Our mentoring program matches junior programmers up with seniors, so a vast well of experience is at your service to aid in your work. You will be expected to ask questions, up to and past the point where you can answer them.
Internships are scheduled for an agreed-upon timeframe (usually 2-4 months). This is not a coffee-fetching internship. We will teach you the way that Ivy programs and gives you a chance to show your potential and rise to those expectations. Interns who demonstrate the skills, strengths, and abilities we are looking for will be offered a full-time position at Ivy.
