The Supervisor/SAP/Applications provides high-level technical support and direction for all aspects of the SAP Business Suite as they relate to business processes and infrastructure development. This position is responsible for the full lifecycle of business and infrastructure change programs for all SAP system landscapes; which includes gathering requirements, technical research, backend and frontend development, quality assurance, deployment, maintenance and support for all components of the SAP system landscape as well as integration with non-SAP applications. This position guides the implementation of SAP Products through effective utilization of internal and external IT resources and leads ad-hoc work teams comprised of subject matter experts, developers and other business team members at various levels in the organization to ensure deliverables and business requirements are met through defined best programming standards and conventions and support the Company's short and long-term strategic roadmap.
This position will focus on supervising Device Management such as: SAP Device Management, Service Order and Notification Processes. We will be seeking a qualified candidate who has hands on SAP Device Management functional expertise. The successful candidate should have experience in Device Management areas he or she will supervise.
The Supervisor/SAP/Applications evaluates the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle to identify challenges and provides guidance on maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of SAP modules and those that interface with other applications to Project Leadership. Supervises and provides performance management to the development team as well as works in close collaboration with business partners, internal and external development teams and other IT staff to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications according to the specifications of the business need. This position actively participates in the development of technical and workflow solutions, analysis of SAP application solutions options, creation of appropriate related documents and the delivery of final solutions to the business utilizing reports, presentations and/or visual aids. Utilized information systems to improve efficiency and make recommendations on new system implementation or necessary upgrades that will best meet customer and Company requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
There are clear precedents and practices which the incumbent uses to determine how this job is performed. This position requires a minimum of six years of SAP functional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities.
The following qualifications are also required:
Supervisory experience and SAP certification and/or and a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business or Computer Science from an accredited university is preferred.
POSITION DIMENSIONS
The incumbent does not have accountability for budgets. Reporting directly to this position are up to ten exempt employees. The incumbent frequently exchanges information with senior management, division management, Information Services support staff, vendors and consultants
