Job Description

Arisant LLC, a premier Oracle Cloud Solutions Provider is looking for a PeopleSoft Administrator/DBA to work with our team primarily supporting PeopleSoft applications including migrations, upgrades, and general support. Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated ability to provide hands-on technical support for the operations and maintenance of PeopleSoft. The position requires on-call duty and occasional off-hours support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform daily monitoring of the PeopleSoft application, respond to automated alerts, diagnose and correct problems to ensure all required system components and processes are operational.
• Perform code migrations, Data Mover executions and in-app configurations between environments as required to support the development lifecycle.
• Perform support and ad-hoc troubleshooting and for the application to diagnosis, repair, and report on technical issues that may be present.
• Provide support of the database cloning process to ensure that the environments are the available for use.
• Perform PeopleSoft application configuration to support the business requirements.
• Design, Install, and Configure the entire PeopleTools stack on multiple networks and OS platforms.
• Perform quarterly patching of all the PeopleSoft components including WebLogic, PeopleTools, Tuxedo, Elasticsearch, etc.
• Perform maintenance of the PeopleSoft environment to include creating/applying Change Packages using supplied tools and the selective adoption process.
• Perform PeopleTools Updates/Upgrades as required to support the customer on multiple Windows and Linux based server systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong understanding/knowledge of networking concepts, server administration, and operating system concepts and fundamentals.
• Strong understanding/knowledge of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture including security components, specifically in an Oracle Linux and WebLogic hosting environment.
• Knowledge and experience installing and configuring PeopleSoft and related architecture including web, application, and database servers as well as middleware.
• Knowledge and experience applying bundles, patches and upgrades to PeopleSoft using PeopleSoft Update Manager & Change Assistant.
• Knowledge and experience working with change management software to migrate changes.
• Experience in performing PeopleSoft environment refresh procedures, performance tuning, system monitoring and maintenance, troubleshooting of PeopleSoft process schedulers.
• Experience setting up automation of monitoring space allocation and troubleshoot PeopleSoft application issues.
• Debugging and optimizing SQL statements within PS Query and Application Engine programs
• Ability to independently organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple and changing priorities.
• Must have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The salary range for this position is $120-$135,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
