Appraiser Sr. (Residential Real Estate) jobs in Orange, CA

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Real Estate Appraiser to join our team at SMS Appraisal, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting property inspections, analyzing market data, and preparing appraisal reports for various types of real estate properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of appraisal principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to provide accurate valuations in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Conduct on-site property inspections to assess condition, features, and amenities.

Collect and analyze relevant market data, including recent sales, listings, and trends.

Utilize appraisal software and tools to perform property valuations and generate appraisal reports.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and company policies.

Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to gather information and address inquiries.

Maintain accurate records of appraisal assignments, including inspection notes, photos, and comparable sales data.

Stay informed about local market conditions, economic trends, and changes in appraisal regulations.

Collaborate with team members and management to ensure timely completion of appraisal assignments and deliverables.

Provide exceptional customer service and professional representation of SMS Appraisal, Inc. in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.63 - $28.46 per hour

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• Certified General Appraiser (Preferred)
