Architectural Drafter jobs in Rock Island, IL

Our CAD Drafters work closely with Project Managers to create drawings and 3D models of duct and piping to be used for fabrication and parts utilizing software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit and Navis Manage to create 2D and 3D Drawings. They also troubleshoot and resolve coordination issues. The ability to see the big picture and hone in on the small details, is a must.

Job Duties & Requirements:

· Skill in reading blueprints and equipment submittals.

· Knowledge with software programs AutoCAD, Revit and Navis Manage

· Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office programs

· Strong organization and computer skills

· Ability to work with others in coordination with other trades

· Take verbal and general written direction well and turn that direction into appropriate, working design documents

· Self-Motivated

· Construction experience (Preferable, but not required)

· Experience 1-2 years Drafting (Preferable, but not required)

· AAS degree in Computer Aided Drafting (Preferable, but not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
