Description:
Production based designing
Must know how to put together a full set of CDs (construction documents)
Applying redlining and markups will be a daily task to ensure project completion
Work is tenant improvement focused and will be mainly on retail and restaurant projects
Half of the job will be designing; this includes markups, redlining, drawing, and conceptualizing projects
Half will be leading projects, teaching, and delegating work to junior architects or designers
You will be involved in projects from concept to completion
You will need to balance designing and ensuring that the entire team's tasks are completed on time
Team may consist of 5-10 people
Job will include oversight of project scheduling, deadlines, client communication, and team growth
Mentorship is a big part of the culture and they need this person to step in and be a daily leader for the firm
You will work alongside folks from all levels and collaborate, often with Project Specialists
Personality type needed is someone that can put their head down and get the work done
You will be looked to for accuracy of daily, weekly, and monthly goals/tasks
Winning this opportunity will aid in awarding additional approvals on bids for projects, leading to more architectural staffing needs
Skills:
autocad, construction documents, retail design, revit, restaurant design, healthcare design
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge of and experience in healthcare architecture would be very useful in this role
They often receive bids on healthcare projects so the candidate would be able to support that workload
