This position requires previous screen print or warehouse management experience.
Production Manager Duties:
· Facilitate weekly schedules with all Team Leads and sales staff
· Manage shop employee’s individual production schedules, assign jobs to equipment, and ensure print deadlines are met
· Manage and update daily production schedules, and facilitate occasional quick-turn projects
· Perform all Aspects of Press Operation Maintenance
· Manage all setups, design proof confirmation, and proper operation
· Manage all production and warehouse employees’ daily duties to achieve necessary balance of production and quality
· Work with fellow employees to maintain operations in any absence
· Participate in the interview and hiring process of new production employees. Participate in employee reviews, and disciplinary action
· Perform training and maintain training guidelines for new production employees
· Participate in necessary training to increase job performance. Find, recognize, and implement efficiencies throughout all production areas
· Work with all suppliers to maintain good B2B relationships as well as pricing management
· Manage Maintain a high-level of overall quality
· Research Development of new techniques, products, equipment, suppliers, etc.
· Manage shop supplies and ordering for all shop needs (inks, threads, chemicals, etc.)
· Manage and perform scheduled maintenance on necessary shop equipment
· Manage Shop Blank inventory
