Position Description

Mechanical Sub Assembly Assistant

Work Location: 185 Grassy Plain Street, Bethel, CT 06801, USA

The Mechanical Sub Assembly Assistant position is responsible for various steps of the production process as well as maintaining organization and order throughout the warehouse. Including but not limited to:

Forklift operation & heavy lifting

• Sub-assembly of steel enclosures
• Sub-assembly of components in enclosures
• Packaging & preparation for shipping
• Receiving goods & inventory management

Potential growth opportunities: Production Supervisor, Quality Manager, Assembly Technician.

REQUIREMENTS

• Manufacturing/warehouse processes & safety
• 2 years’ experience in assembly work or installations
• Attention to detail
• Quick learner
• Good level of initiative
• Good organization skills
• Passion for efficiency
• High level of computer literacy
• Workspace organization and cleanliness
• Knowledge of hand/power tools
• Active forklift Operation License
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift a minimum of 40lbs and up to 90lbs
