We are seeking a lead maintenance technician for our 184-unit apartment community in Pelham! Our community is only a short drive from interstates I-65 and Pelham Towne Center, and is minutes from the beautiful Oak Mountain State Park! As Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintenance operations on the property. Our ideal candidate has the necessary skills to complete maintenance and repairs for vacant and occupied units while working within the planned maintenance budget. Requirements

• At least three years of experience in on-site property maintenance.
• Must have Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Weekends are required based on property needs or during on-call; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies every other week.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) is preferred.
• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for all maintenance operations on the property while working within the planned maintenance budget.
• Diagnosing and repairing basic and complex maintenance issues for vacant and occupied units
• Maintaining all service and safety records in compliance with federal, state, and local law.
• Performs any additional duties assigned by Community Manager or Regional Director.

Work Days: Monday – Friday
Work Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Weekends are required based on property needs or during on-call; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies every other week.
Required License or Certification: Valid Driver’s License in the state where the property is located, or a neighboring state in proximity to the property where applicable, or willing to obtain a Driver’s License to meet these stipulations within 60 days; Must have Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification.
