Being an Assistant Athletics Director may have responsibility for the personnel, budget, and compliance with governing rules. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Assistant Athletics Director typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Assistant Athletics Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. About Signature Sports Camps
Signature Sports Camps operates overnight sports camps in soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey. We incorporate the traditional "summer sleepaway camp" experience with sports camp! On the field, athletes get coached by Professional Lacrosse players they watch on ESPN, alongside the Signature Resident Coaches, who are college players and alumni. Off the field, campers enjoy the full summer camp experience with excursions, camp games, and leadership development.Location
Signature Sports Camps is looking for Assistant Directors to help operate our Summer Camps in St. Pete, Florida; Sewanee, Tennessee; and Upstate New York (Keuka Lake in the Fingerlakes).Benefits:
- $1800 per week (5 days/ 4 nights counts as a week)

Role & Responsibilities:
Signature Sports Camps is hiring a passionate, responsible, and dedicated camp leader for each 2024 summer camp location! Parents and players choose Signature for the unique programming, energetic community, and knowledgeable coaches; a culture like that flows right down from the leader at the top! Our Assistant Directors are extroverted, warm, and work hard to create an inclusive environment that attracts campers year after year.
Assistant Directors work alongside our Camp Director to manage:
- Check-in/check-out experience
- Continuous Staff training
- Travel coordination
- Schedule Operations (ie Ensuring our counselors understand the schedules for each day and have everything they need)
- Some parent communication at Camp (Daily Newsletters, check in's, etc)
Qualifications:

- Previous childcare experience (teaching, summer camp experience, etc)
