AIM Academy in Pike Road is seeking an assistant director. Our ideal candidate is a passionate, thoughtful, and energetic ECE leader.

Job Description Summary

The assistant director’s primary areas of responsibility will include the following:

Leadership: Strive each day to establish and maintain a culture consistent with our core values

Personnel: Help with all areas of staff management including recruiting, hiring, on boarding, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation and recognition

Program Quality: Ensure (i) our curriculum is properly implemented in accordance with best practices in early childhood and (ii) all health and safety policies and procedures are diligently maintained

Parent Engagement: Highly attentive to parent needs to ensure each family becomes connected to our school community

Skills and Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field is preferred, but other ECE credentials will be considered
• Three or more years of management experience in early childhood
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer application skills
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Must pass all background checks and meet AL DHR state requirements
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Compensation

• Base salary of $35,000 to $40,000 based on years of experience and overall qualifications
