Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated and analytical Assistant Controller to become a foundational piece of our accounting team. This individual will play a pivotal role in our financial processes and will collaborate closely with our Controller. This position provides a golden opportunity for hands-on experience, mentorship, and growth within an expanding company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in Financial Management: Support the preparation and analysis of financial reports and statements, contributing to transparent and sound financial practices.
• Month End Close: Develop and maintain the month end close process for multiple entities within the organization to ensure accurate and timely financial performance.
• Bill Pay/Cash Management: Oversee the AP process and pay bills on a semi-monthly basis. Assist with cash management and projection of future cash flow.
• Treasury Oversight: Assist with ACH/Wire originations as well as monitoring bank accounts.
• Budget Coordination: Collaborate in the budgeting process, including forecasting, and helping manage financial goals and expectations.
• Team Collaboration: Engage with various departments to support cross-functional alignment, promoting a cohesive work environment.
• Growth Opportunity: Learn from and work closely with the Controller, embracing growth opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Education: bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in accounting or related field, with a focus on financial analysis and reporting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in common accounting software and MS Office Suite.
• Personal Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
• Communication Skills: Effective interpersonal abilities with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional Development: Demonstrated interest in professional growth and learning within a collaborative team setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
