Performance Personnel is seeking an assistant controller in Wichita KS.

Primary Job Duties:

• Provide guidance for the accounting team and oversee accurate general ledger accounting and reporting.
• Participate in the preparation of monthly reporting to ownership.
• Assist in preparation of month end closing processes.
• Prepare all monthly journal entries with acute attention to detail.
• Prepare all monthly account reconciliations for all entities.
• Assist in corporate budgeting and forecasting efforts on a monthly and yearly basis.
• Assist in development and deployment of corporate accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist in monitoring treasury function, including cash and wire activities.
• Become Global Shop (ERP) proficient and learn best practices for process improvement implementation.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting in an as needed capacity.
• Understand and lead special projects and support project cost analysis as required by Corporate.
• Provide training and technical education to accounting and corporate staff, as needed.

Skills/Requirements:

• Proven record of accuracy to detail
• Comfortable with leading, motivating and developing coworkers and subordinates.
• Proven ability to work well, and be understanding of, work-related stressors.
• Strong numeric analytical skills
• Proven track record of balancing multiple special projects in conjunction with typical daily duties.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 3 years’ experience as a Senior Accountant and/or Assistant Controller

Pay: $70,411.20 - $75,000.00 per year
