Assistant Director of Finance jobs in Bridgeport, CT

Saxe Doernberger & Vita, P.C. is a growing national insurance coverage firm whose practice focuses exclusively on representing insurance policyholders. We are currently seeking a Finance Assistant to assist our Billing Department with invoicing as well as other clerical tasks as needed by the Finance Department. This is an entry level position ideal for a recent college graduate interested in an accounting career. This role will be based in our Trumbull, CT office.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure timeliness, accuracy and acceptance of invoices on a monthly basis
• Respond to client inquires and resolution of billing issues
• Handle special billing projects as assigned
• Ensure compliance with fee schedule and terms

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting;

• Skilled with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Outlook;
• Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills;
• Strong commitment to accuracy;
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines;
• Professional and positive demeanor;
• High degree of confidentiality.
