JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for leading and overseeing the technology operations, infrastructure, and business systems for the bank. The Director plays a pivotal role in aligning technology solutions with business goals, ensuring the security and efficiency of our IT systems, and driving innovation to meet the evolving needs of the financial industry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Infrastructure and Operations (40%)
- Manages the design, implementation, and maintenance of the bank's IT infrastructure in conjunction with partners, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Oversees data center operations, network architecture, and cloud computing strategies.
- Conducts regular risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices to proactively address emerging threats through collaboration with Information Security.
Business Capabilities (25%)
- Collaborates with business units to identify and implement business systems to deliver business capabilities.
- Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices to proactively address emerging threats.
- Manages the core banking relationship.
Leadership (15%)
- Implements the overall IT strategy aligned with SNB's business goals.
- Collaborates with executive management to understand business requirements and translate them into technology initiatives.
- Directs employees within department including but not limited to sourcing and hiring, training, coaching and developing, holding regular check-in meetings, delegating work assignments, conducting timely performance reviews, providing salary recommendations, and administering corrective actions as needed.
- Leads and mentors a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Innovation and Digital Transformation (10%)
- Drives innovation within the IT department to improve delivery of IT services.
- Monitors industry developments to identify opportunities both incremental and

- Implements technologies that enhance customer experience, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiency.
Vendor and Risk Management (10%)
- Evaluates, selects, and manages relationships with external technology partners.
- Negotiates contracts and ensure that vendors adhere to service level agreements.
- Understands and manages vendor risks.
- Implements and enforces IT policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance and data integrity.
- Oversees project management and ensure the successful delivery of IT projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
Performs other duties as required and assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing IT teams through planning and execution.
- The ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Capacity to embrace change and adapt to new situations.
- Ability to think critically, providing options to mitigate risks and resolve issues, and escalate items.
- Ability to build relationships and foster collaboration and teamwork.
- Knowledge and understanding of systems used within the banking industry strongly preferred.

EDUCATION*
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required.
EXPERIENCE*
- Minimum of 7 years in IT leadership required.
- Experience in the financial services industry strongly preferred.
