Assistant Pharmacy Director assists department head in daily duties and assumes responsibility in his/her absence. Oversees pharmacists and provides pharmacy services. Being an Assistant Pharmacy Director compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceuticals. Typically requires a master's degree in pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy. Additionally, Assistant Pharmacy Director requires state Pharmacist License. Typically reports to top management. The Assistant Pharmacy Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Assistant Pharmacy Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Pharmacist Position Details:- ASAP start date
- 13 week contract with opportunity to extend
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Day shift, 8am - 5pm, occasional Saturdays 9am-12pm required, but no more than 1-2/month.
- $65/hr for qualified candidates

Pharmacist Requirements:- 1-3 years’ experience in Retail Pharmacy
- NM licensed Pharmacist in good standing
- BS Pharm or Pharm D degree in Pharmacy
- NM Pharmacist Vaccination Prescribing Authority Certification
- RX30 experience preferred
