Assistant Property Manager jobs in Downey, CA

About us:

We are a full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm dedicated to fulfilling client needs quickly and efficiently throughout the California market and beyond, with extensive experience in investment sales and property management. We're looking for a full-time employee. We need someone who can communicate well and is dependable.

*This is a full-time on-site position (40 hrs per week).*

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day tasks, including but not limited to scheduling appointments, handling communications via phone calls and emails, and promptly responding to messages.
• Carry out administrative duties, maintain precise records, and provide regular updates on progress.
• Maintain property management records on AppFolio, including setting up new properties/bank accounts for acquisitions.
• Assist in lease administration (reading and extracting relevant information).
• Assist in preparing yearly CAM Reconciliation sand budgets for the properties.
• Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience (1-2 years) as an Assistant Property Manager or Property Manager or similar role; Commercial experience is preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service and administrative tasks.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Suite and Appfolio.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with impeccable multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must have own reliable transportation.

Language:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English is required.
