Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Principal to join our administrative team. The Assistant Principal will work closely with the Principal to support the day-to-day operations of the school, with a focus on discipline, curriculum development, scheduling, parent communication, teacher evaluation, professional development, and other administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Principal to develop and implement school-wide policies and procedures that promote a culture of respect, inclusivity, and academic excellence, while also reflecting Islamic values and principles.

• Assist in the supervision and evaluation of teaching staff, providing feedback and support to enhance instructional practices and promote professional growth.

• Oversee the implementation of the school's curriculum, ensuring alignment with academic standards and instructional best practices, while also considering opportunities to integrate Islamic perspectives where appropriate.

• Manage student discipline and behavior management processes in accordance with school policies and procedures, fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.

• Coordinate parent communication initiatives, including newsletters, parent meetings, and conferences, to facilitate open and effective communication between the school and families.

• Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and deliver professional development opportunities that support instructional excellence and student achievement.

• Assist in the development and monitoring of the school's master schedule, ensuring optimal use of instructional time and resources.

• Support the Principal in day-to-day administrative tasks, including budget management, facility operations, and compliance with state and local regulations.

• Serve as a liaison between the school administration, staff, students, parents, and community stakeholders, promoting a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Education Administration, Educational Leadership, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5-7 years of teaching experience, with previous administrative experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional best practices, and educational research.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage student discipline and behavior in a school setting.

• Experience with teacher evaluation, professional development, and instructional coaching.

• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
