Assistant Terminal Manager jobs in Madison, WI

S&S Transport of Milton is looking for an Assistant Terminal Manager to guide our regional fleet of drivers, office, and warehouse staff In this position, you will work with our Operations team to execute freight deadlines, create relationships with customers, and assist in the day to day operations of our terminal.

Job Duties:

• Oversee responsibility for Terminal functions
• Act as liaison between various internal departments such as driver managers and warehouse
• Oversee driver productivity
• Address employee and customer relation issues.
• Review reports as assigned by leadership.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
• May perform additional duties as assigned by Operations.

Must Haves:

• Previous leadership experience
• Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
• Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of the Transportation industry strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong organization skills and detail oriented.
