Assisted Living Program Administrator administers the day-to-day operations in a skilled nursing, assisted living, or similar facility. Responsible for maintaining a high standard of care for the residents and ensures proper accommodations. Being an Assisted Living Program Administrator may participate in resident assessments to help identify needs. Implements and monitors safety protocols. Additionally, Assisted Living Program Administrator builds good relationships with residents and their families, and addresses complaints and concerns. Ensures compliance with current local, state, and federal standards and regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Assisted Living Program Administrator typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Ensures that all functional areas required to operate the community are always covered (including holidays and weekends).
Operate the community in a manner which will ensure company profitability by meeting all community budget and census guidelines.
Ensure the delivery of quality care and services. Ensure positive resident relations by responding promptly and appropriately to resident needs, requests, and concerns.
Lead all marketing activities including public relations efforts, prospective resident generation, prospective resident follow-up, direct sales, and sales monitoring to ensure occupancy is at or above budget.
Employ, supervise, and evaluate community team.
Direct and evaluate contracted services i.e., beauty salon, home health services, etc.
Promote and maintain positive relationships with residents and care team through care planning, dining room interactions, and grievance follow up.
Understand and comply with all community policies, state, and federal regulations as related to the operations of the community, care of the residents, and employment of the team.
Daily upkeep and monitoring of company systems.
Regulate and maintain Quality Assurance.
Any additional duties as assigned by Home Office Leadership.
Qualifications:
Must have or have the ability to obtain all necessary state and/or federal licensure to operate in the community.
Keep all required licensure in good standing at all times.
Physical Demands:
Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50lbs.
Ability to bend, squat, and climb stairs.
Ability to continuously walk or stand.
Universal Precautions:
Potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
Potential exposure to communicable diseases.
