Shared Living Program Administrator (SLPA)

We are looking for a full-time Shared Living Program Administrator to provide oversight for Shared Living homes in the Southern Maine Area. The primary work place is in our Casco office with some travel and some ability to work from home. The SLPA connects with the homes through live meetings, phone calls, e-mails, and zoom meetings when necessary.

Shared Living is an integrated model of support where an adult with intellectual disabilities lives within a family unit or with an adult provider. Our SLPAs are adept at coordinating home supports and respite as needed plus coordinating and tracking mandated and individualized trainings for the home care provider. Collaborating with each client’s community of providers, including healthcare providers, case managers, guardians, homecare providers and direct support professionals is an integral part of the job. Skills in observation, documentation and communication of the client’s changing status are essential to manage the well-being of each client. This job requires traveling to visit the homes; a reliable vehicle and clean driving record is essential.

Successful candidates have compassion and respect for all people, a track record of working with adults with intellectual disabilities and can bring insights to managing SLO environments to ensure the well-being of each client. High School diploma required, college experience helpful, 100,000/300,000 auto liability insurance required, experience in Shared Living or related field preferred, and a commitment to work closely with our clients and their community of providers is essential.

Pay: $41,600.00 - $42,500.00 per year
