```Overview:
We are a small tax and accounting firm seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant.

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in accounting and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports,
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of transactions
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Assist with tax compliance and preparation of tax returns
- Conduct account analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
- Support senior accountants
- Utilize accounting software to input and track financial data accurately

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance procedures
- Proficiency in bank reconciliation processes
- Experience working with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel)
- Ability to prepare accurate journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Excellent financial acumen and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills for account analysis and problem-solving
- Previous experience as an accounting clerk or similar role is a plus
