Architecture Design Specification Representative

Our Award Winning Client, renowned for its national presence and numerous accolades, is seeking an Architecture Design Specification Representative to join their team in Littleton, CO. This role combines technical expertise with strategic outreach to influence design professionals and promote our client's cutting-edge Roofing Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Assistance & Education:
• Offer technical support to design professionals on roofing solutions.
• Educate design professionals to enhance our client's technical reputation.
• Strategically target design firms to integrate our client into master specifications.
• Market Data Analysis & Lead Development:
• Assess market data to comprehend our client's standing within the specification community.
• Generate project leads for the sales team and roofing contractors.
• Develop and implement specification strategies with Regional Sales, Preferred Accounts, and Product Management to increase project opportunities.
• Day-to-Day Activities:
• Provide project technical assistance, including specification review, writing, and technical assessments.
• Evaluate project specifications to identify opportunities in target markets.
• Utilize CRM to manage activities, project opportunities, and customer leads.
• Internal Collaboration:
• Partner with internal teams (sales, product management, marketing) to provide customer insights and market data analysis.
• Ensure that our client's technical documents and educational resources are up-to-date and relevant.
• Continuous Learning:
• Participate in ongoing education within the design professional and commercial roofing industry to enhance skills.
• Remain engaged with industry developments to keep our client's resources current.
• Additional Duties:
• Perform related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management preferred.
• Experience:
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in engineering or architectural fundamentals.
• Technical knowledge of roofing products and installation preferred.
• Familiarity with the construction industry and processes (CDT Certification preferred).
• Skills:
• Ability to read and edit construction documents.
• Evaluate product lines, including physical properties and characteristics.
• Develop custom solutions for unique roofing situations.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
