Professor - Biology provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Biology typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Job Description:
Teaches a full range of courses including anatomy and physiology, microbiology, ecology/environmental courses, biological chemistry, and major and non-major biology. Other responsibilities include student conferences, maintaining office hours, and participating in course preparation and evaluation, continuing education and community services programs.

Special Note: Classes are assigned, beginning August (Fall semester) 2024. Ability to work a combination of days/evenings/weekends is required. Assignments may include working at multiple sites/campuses.
