Assoc. Professor - Civil Engineering teaches courses in the discipline area of civil engineering. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Assoc. Professor - Civil Engineering provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Civil Engineering typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Civil Project Engineer

  • RH2 is currently seeking an experienced, collaborative Civil Project Engineer for our Lake Oswego, OR office. This position will be working with other RH2 team members in the planning, designing, and construction administration of water, wastewater, irrigation, stormwater, and transportation projects.     Responsibilities

    • Lead design efforts and coordination of multi-discipline design teams
    • Assumes project management role on small projects
    • Interact directly with clients and review agencies
    • Provide project engineering and marketing support efforts on a variety of projects
    • Mentor and direct Engineers-In-Training (EIT or Staff Engineers)

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science or higher degree in either Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Minimum four (4) years of applicable skills and experience, preferably in public sector consulting
    • Experience with water and/or wastewater planning and design projects including pipelines and collection systems, pump stations, storage tanks, and treatment projects strongly preferred
    • Ability to support projects from design through construction
    • Experience with local and regional design standards and ability to apply those standards to design and analysis
    • Experience coordinating other engineers and permitting agencies as well as interacting with clients
    • Current P.E. license in the State of Oregon

    Compensation

    Individual compensation will vary within the following range based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience as they relate to the requirements for this position $41.00-$56.00/hour. RH2 values our employees’ work/life balance and compensates overtime for hours exceeding 40 regular hours in a work week.
